Posted on 25 July 2023 By Admin No Comments on Grammy Award winner and music legend Tony Bennett has died at the age of 96

The performer was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016.

Bennett received his first Grammy in San Francisco for the song I Left My Heart in 1962, and almost 60 years later, in 2022, he picked up his 20th award at the venerable age of 95.

Known for his performances with artists ranging from Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga, Bennett sold millions of records worldwide and won 20 Grammys, including a lifetime achievement award.

Performing until he was 90, even after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2016, Bennett was a favorite artist of all generations; Gaga is just one of the contemporary artists he collaborated with in the years that followed.
