"Barbie" showed the second best start in history for a movie directed by a woman

“Barbie” showed the second best start in history for a movie directed by a woman

Posted on 25 July 202325 July 2023 By Admin No Comments on “Barbie” showed the second best start in history for a movie directed by a woman

The film earned $337 million worldwide, leaving the top spot to Captain Marvel with $456 million (although it had a duo of directors). $153 million of this amount came from the United States, which was the best result of the year. If Barbie manages to keep this position until the end of 2023, it will also become the first film with a woman in the director’s chair to achieve such a result.

And she really deserves it.
